Flawless & English National Ballet

We went to see the ballet last week; not our usual thing to do, but it was a ballet with a difference; English National Ballet featuring Flawless. A mix of ballet and street, it was AMAZING.

The dance moves were unreal; even the boys doing ballet and the girls doing street.

It's on in theatres across the UK until July 8th - if you get the chance go and see it. We were gutted when the theatre stage closed its curtains at the end.....

Half Term Holiday Fun

OK, so the break from exams and pressure is finally here: half term. It's been great hearing what you are all up to; sounds pretty busy!

This time round, one half of BnK has managed to make it away - on a 'glamping' trip! Yep, that means camping with glamour. Everything you need there for you, no having to make do with a hard sleeping roll for comfort, and most importantly, nice big clean bathrooms for that all important beauty stuff; sounds like our perfect holiday - natural and beautiful. Let's hope the weather holds out....

Snow White and the Huntsman

Our film reviews seem to be a bit OTT on the Snow White front recently, but having seen the make up in the latest film, Snow White and the Huntsman, there was no way we couldn't do a post. Charlize Theron and Kirsten Stewart look fantastic. We love the heavy make up, totally goes with the clothes and dark style of the film, don't you think?

And no, there is no make up trends we like here, we just wanted to put a picture of Chris Hemsworth up!

Oxygen Skin Care Update

We were luck enough to get a visit from one of our favourite Brand Owners last week. Alana Riley, who set up Oxygen Skin Care in her native New Zealand, came all the way over to London to meet up with us and have a good old catch up about what's been happening.

A passionate advocate of natural skincare. Alana and her husband Colin Oldham have been pioneers in the organics business for over 20 years. Setting up her own natural skincare range, Oxygen, has evolved from this wealth of experience. Before setting up Oxygen, Alana owned the Spotlight Modelling Agency in Christchurch, as well as operating Purity 3, a grooming and deportment school of her own creation, for over 18 years.

Alana and her family are based in Nelson, one of the most beautiful provinces in New Zealand. She enjoys working with teenagers and has developed a special Oxygen range for teen skins. But it is working alongside and teaching people of all ages about the optimum ways to care for your skin that is Alana's focus. "I am not only developing this wonderful product, but educating people about the best techniques to get the highest benefits from the Oxygen skincare range."

Jubilee Celebrations!

It's quite a special weekend in Britain. Very special in fact. Most of you will know that we are celebrating the 60 years our Queen has been on the throne. A pretty big deal, so we thought we'd put our glad rags on and get ourselves down to the famous Epsom Derby, where she was heading too to kick off the celebrations.
