How much do you charge for shipping?

Do you ship overseas?

Yes.

How are orders shipped? 

We use Royal Mail & DHL for shipping orders. Standard delivery is by First Class post for UK orders. A signature may be required upon delivery.

International delivery services take between 5 - 10 working days.

Can I cancel an order? 

We despatch most orders within 48 hours of you placing your order. If you would like to cancel an order please let us know as soon as possible and we will notify you whether or not this will be possible; your order may already have been shipped.

Choosing products

How do I know if a product will suit my skin type?

Do you have samples I can try?

We have a select range of free samples. You can add up to 2 free samples to an order of £30 or more to try out something new. Alternatively have a look at our range of try me kits.

Can I use different skincare brands together?

Yes! We're big fans of mixing and matching. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't use products by lots of different brands. Shop for products according to your skin's needs; start with a cleanser that works with your skin type then build up. Get to know your skin, listen to it and play!

Are the organic and natural beauty products you stock sealed?

Some of the manufacturers that supply the products we stock seal their products, some don't. As an online organic beauty store however our products are never displayed in a shop where they are accessible by the public or other customers prior to purchase. We warehouse the products that are delivered by our suppliers before shipping them off to you with your order so there is no opportunity for them to be tampered with before you use them.

How do you choose the brands you stock?

We are not affiliated with any of the brands we stock. We search out the purest & most effective natural & organic skincare, bodycare and cosmetics available from all over the world for you to enjoy. We make sure each product listed is free of suspect chemicals and cheap synthetics that don't care for your skin. And we don't stock brands that test products on animals. If we don't like a brand or product and wouldn't use it ourselves then we don't stock it!

This means that we only recommend to you products that we love, made by people who love natural beauty as much as we do.

How do you decide which chemicals to avoid in the natural beauty products you stock?

We aim to follow guidance published by the UK Soil Association, BDIH & Ecocert, plus we keep abreast of the latest research studies.

How can I tell if a skin care product is organic or not?

There are lots of terms you will find on skincare and beauty product labels these days including 'natural', 'organic', 'hypo-allergenic' and 'pure'. These terms have no real meaning; a beauty product can be labelled natural if it contains only a tiny percentage of natural ingredients and the rest is made up of chemicals. Likewise an organic skincare product may only contain a drop of organic essential oil and nothing else organic at all.

The only way to know what you are buying is to read the ingredients on the label to see how much is natural and how much is chemical. Also find out more about the brand's commitment to organics and natural skincare - do they tell you where an ingredient is derived from? Some ingredients are semi synthetic and can be derived from natural ingredients or from chemicals - yet they will have the same name on the ingredient label. Be informed!

I have never used natural skin care products before or have used skin care that contained mineral oil or petroleum derived ingredients such as propylene glycol. Will I notice any difference?

You may experience a 'detox' effect when you first start using natural skin care products. Your skin may break out or seem a little inflamed. This is normal and is part of the healing process your skin is going through. After 2 - 3 weeks this should pass and your skin should really start to show the benefits of your new skin care regime after about 6 weeks. If you have very sensitive skin and are concerned that this could be a reaction do a patch test on your neck or wrist.

What's your policy on animal testing?

We only stock brands that have a no animal testing policy, who neither test their products nor ingredients on animals nor commission third parties to test them.

Many of our products are certified by bodies such as the BDIH or the Vegan Society who require proof of no animal testing before certification is granted.

How do I apply mineral make up?

Natural mineral make up leaves a smooth, flawless, mattified finish to skin and also provides natural UV protection. Shake a little of the powder into the lid, swirl a soft make up brush in the lid and then shake off any loose powder from the brush. Lightly brush the powder over your face, applying a fine, light layer. Reapply layers of powder until you have the coverage you require.

Are my credit card and personal details safe?

Your credit card details are processed by either Protx or PayPal, both are specialist card processing companies, regulated by the FSA, using state of the art security systems. We never get to see your credit card details and they are not stored anywhere on our own system, so you couldn't be better protected.

Your personal details, eg address, email etc, are kept safely on our system for our own records so we can process your orders and, where relevant, keep you up to date with offers and news. We never ever pass your details on to any third parties except when we need to fulfil your order.
